The frame, the buttstock tube with the enlarged SF-type buttstock housing the battery, as well as the M-LOK-standard forend and the pistol grip are made of nylon fiber-reinforced polymer plastic. Other components, such as the barrel, flash suppressor, and enlarged reloading handle, are made of metal (all screws, pins, the case ejector flap, and the dummy slide are made of steel). The frame bears the markings and a serial number.
