Description of AIRTECH kwa conversion:

The TDC (Top-Down-Center) carriage converter is designed for the KWA QRF MOD2 rotary hop-up chamber to radically improve the applicable hop-up inside the chamber.

Hop-up types compatible with the conversion kit

This kit can be used with all types of hop-ups and is also perfectly suited to R-Hop and Flat-Hop configurations thanks to a carriage system that applies the hop-up perfectly downward for more uniform pressure on the ball. The result: increased accuracy over long distances.

Why TDC (Top-Down-Center)?

Using a Top-Down-Center hop-up is a highly sought-after feature in airsoft, as it maximizes friction on a BB. Third-party chambers are available to achieve this. However, switching to a third-party chamber can come with risks such as double BB feeding, misfeeds, and uneven air compression. That's why we've opted for an upgrade option for the stock hop-up chamber, specifically designed for KWA QRF MOD Series replicas.

Airtech Studios tested the performance of many types of M-nubs for their strength, durability, and ability to retain their shape under intense pressure. We chose a version that meets all of these criteria.

Gun modification

This is an upgrade and no modification to the QRF MOD1 parts is required. However, different models using the same rotary chamber may require modification of the outer barrel to fit. See the manual or contact us for more information.
