The Transformer Folding Battery Stock takes compactness and portability even further. Unlike most AR-15/M4-style rifles, the buffer tube and stock fold to the side when not in use, greatly minimizing the rifle's overall footprint. One of the unique features of this folding stock is its ability to house a battery without exposing any wiring when folded; the battery system on this stock uses recessed contacts that automatically engage when the stock is extended.

About the i5 Gearbox While the traditional Version 2 gearbox has remained largely unchanged since its inception, slight changes have been made over time, usually as a result of frequent user modifications and then incorporated into factory-available options. Thanks to feedback from players and suppliers, G&P has released its newest version of the Version 2 gearbox, the G&P i5. While internally similar to the proven V2 gearbox, the i5 comes from the factory with a host of improved components. The i5 is powered by an M140 motor and equipped with 8mm bearings for increased performance and reliability. The drop-down QD spring guide makes spring changes much easier, requiring only the removal of the upper receiver. An in-line MOSFET with electronic trigger and selector is also included, eliminating sensitive trigger switches and selector plates. The i5 gearbox takes the traditional V2 gearbox and makes it more reliable, robust and user-friendly, without sacrificing the performance expected by G&P players.
